Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup white syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 cup peanuts or pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, salt and water in saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves. Add nuts and cook until mixture browns and spins a thread. Take off heat and add baking soda. Stir mixture good and then
    pour on buttered
    pan. Let cool and break into pieces.
