Egg Noodles - cooking recipe

3 large eggs
2 c. sour cream
salt
flour
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine eggs, sour cream and a large pinch of salt.
Stir until well mixed.
Add enough flour to make a soft, pliable dough.
After the first 3 cups, add flour 1/2 cup at a time.
The last addition of flour will be done while kneading the dough.
Knead just until the dough is smooth.
Let rest for 10 minutes.
Divide dough into quarters.
Roll each out on a floured surface.
Roll to a thickness of 1/8-inch.
Cut in strips and place in a pot of boiling water to cook.
When noodles rise to the top and are tender (approximately after 10 minutes), remove from the water and serve with onions sauteed in butter.
