Flaky Pie Crust(Makes 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. Crisco
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg, beaten
    water
Preparation
    Cut shortening into dry ingredients until consistency of coarse meal.
    Add enough water to vinegar and egg to make 1 cup. Add liquid to mixture until dough forms a ball.
    Divide dough and pat out with hands and roll into 9-inch crusts.
    Pastry will keep several months in freezer if wrapped tightly.
    The dough may be left in dough balls and frozen.
    I use Ziploc freezer bags.
