Christmas Porridge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. barley
    3 qt. water
    2 c. dried fruit
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1/3 c. honey
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. coriander
Preparation
    Toast almonds.
    Cook barley in 2 quarts water.
    Boil 45 minutes over medium heat.
    Add fruits and the rest of ingredients. Cook until thick.
    Serve with cream.
