Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt and milk in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Quickly bring to a boil, stirring only until sugar is dissolved.
    Boil without stirring until mixture reaches soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat and add butter, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Mix well. Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
