Snicker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 pkg. caramels (I used 1/2 pkg.)
    1 stick margarine
    1/3 c. milk
    3/4 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed.
    Pour half of the batter in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels, margarine and milk.
    Pour over cake.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Pour remaining cake batter on top.
    Bake 20 minutes at 250\u00b0, then 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and frost (very good without frosting).
