Mom'S Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hash browns
    1/4 lb. margarine, melted (1 stick)
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. Velveeta cheese
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    Chips or corn flakes
    Ham (optional)
Preparation
    Melt margarine, onion, and salt together.
    Mix with cheese, sour cream, and soup.
    Mix hashbrowns
    into mixture and add ham chunks.
    Put in 9 x 11 inch baking pan and put chips or corn flakes on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
