South Carolina Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift flour, add sugar, cut in shortening, add buttermilk then add yeast.
Mix dough and place in icebox.
Take out as much as needed at a time.
