Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. pumpkin
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 c. water
    2 1/3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar well.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water. Blend in sifted dry ingredients; add nuts.
    Bake in
    two loaf pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
