Cherry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo or butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Measure flour and sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Combine with first mixture along with sour cream.
Spread half of batter in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured.
On top of this spread 1 can Thank You cherry pie filling, then spread remaining batter over this.
