Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. softened margarine
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. finely chopped pecans

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add vanilla, flour and nuts. Shape into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 minutes at 300\u00b0.
Roll in powdered sugar while hot, very carefully.
I find they will shatter if handled the least bit roughly, either when rolling in sugar or trying to eat them!
