Ingredients

4 slices stale or toasted bread
6 medium tomatoes, peeled or canned tomatoes, drained (reserve juice)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. sugar
Fresh dried parsley (optional)
Preparation

Cut each tomato in 6 pieces, place in saucepan and cook until done.
Mash up.
Break up your bread in small pieces and add to tomatoes.
Stir (should be pudding consistency; add a little tomato juice if necessary).
Add butter, sugar, salt and pepper. Top with fresh dried parsley.
