No Peek Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef chunks, cut to bite size
    1 lb. carrots, sliced lengthwise
    2 small onions, chopped or sliced
    6 to 8 potatoes, scrubbed or peeled
    6 to 8 celery stalks, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. tapioca
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven, first place beef chunks on bottom, then a layer of each vegetable and the juice.
    Add seasonings to sugar and tapioca.
    Pour over juice.
    Cover and bake at 225\u00b0 for 4 to 5 hours.
    The liquid will thicken by itself while cooking and acts as a tasty gravy.
    Serves 6 to 8.
