Ingredients

1/4 c. melted oleo
2 c. milk
3/4 c. water
3 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. honey or sugar
2 pkg. yeast
Preparation

Heat the first 3 ingredients to lukewarm.
Beat all the above ingredients for 2 minutes.
Add 2 more cups flour and beat 2 minutes more.
Now, stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough (usually about 1 1/2 more cups).
Knead about 8 minutes.
Let rise in bowl.
Then turn out on floured counter and let rest about 20 minutes.
Shape into 3 long loaves; place on greased baking sheet and let rise until double.
Then bake at 375\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
If you like a harder crust, bake 45 minutes.
