Mexican Rice And Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage links
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 c. water
    1 large can tomato juice
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1/2 c. long grain rice
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cut links into pieces; brown.
    Remove from pan; spoon off all but 1 or 2 tablespoons fat.
    Add onion and garlic; cook until tender.
    Add water, juice, beans, rice, sausage links and seasonings.
    Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes or until rice is done.
