Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 small bag chocolate chips (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Combine dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture alternately with mashed bananas.
    Fold in nuts (and chips if desired).
    Pour into buttered loaf pan and let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
