Navy Bean And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry navy beans
    2 c. chopped peeled potatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. shredded carrot
    1 Tbsp. catsup
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 c. or more chopped ham
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight; drain. Add 7 1/4 cups of water and cook 1 hour. Add potatoes, onion, carrot, catsup, salt, pepper and ham. Simmer 30 minutes or until beans and vegetables are tender.
