Meatballs In Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 slightly beaten eggs
    2/3 c. grated cheese
    1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    Mix meat, eggs, cheese and oregano.
    Shape into about 30 (1/2-inch) balls; brown slightly on all sides in a little hot fat. Drain off excess fat.
    Pour in soup.
    Add water slowly, stirring to blend.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Makes 6 servings.
