Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    flavoring (either use 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut flavoring or 1 tsp. lemon, 1 tsp. butter flavoring and 1 tsp. coconut flavoring)
Preparation
    Cream together butter or margarine and sugar; add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Add 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup milk.
    Put baking powder in remaining 1/2 cup milk.
    Let bubble and settle, then add flavoring.
    Add remaining 2 cups flour and milk with baking powder and flavoring.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in greased and floured tube pan.
    Do not open door during cooking.
