Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. cubed potatoes
    1/2 c. oleo
    milk
    cubed ham or sliced Polish sausage
    1 large onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion; drain off half the water.
    Add oleo, milk, ham, salt and pepper to taste.
    Thicken with instant potatoes.
