Springerle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. eggs
    1 Tbsp. oil
    3 2/3 c. powdered sugar, sifted
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. anise seed
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix eggs
    with\toil
    and beat for 10 minutes.
    Add powdered sugar,
    1 cup flour and baking powder and mix well.
    Add anise seed
    and
    rest
    of
    flour.
    Mix
    dough
    in
    morning and refrigerate until evening.\tRoll out dough 1/4-inch thick (you may use special rolling pin to roll out dough, rolling pin has designs that
    are\timprinted
    on
    dough).\tCut
    into squares. Place on greased cookie sheets, liberally sprinkled with anise seed.
    Let cookies set overnight.
    Bake in morning at 325\u00b0 for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Cookies are done when bottoms are brown.
