Hardee'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour (White Lily)
    1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Measure a good 2 cups flour, baking powder, sugar and shortening.
    Cut shortening into the flour mixture with a pastry blender until flour mixture resembles coarse cornmeal .
    Add a scant 1 cup buttermilk to the flour mixture and mix well.
    Turn dough onto floured surface.
    Knead slightly and roll out with rolling pin. Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Makes about 10 large biscuits. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
