Randy'S Secret Sauce For Halibut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 halibut steaks
    butter
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    basil
    sage, thyme and marjoram (optional)
    dry white wine (optional)
Preparation
    Mince garlic.
    Saute in butter in pan.
    Lightly brown steaks on both sides.
    In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, spices and wine.
    Stir until the sugar dissolves (it should taste salty and sweet if the mixture is right).
    Pour over fish.
    Turn heat down to medium-low.
    Let sauce thicken and fish cook.
    The fish flakes when it is done.
