Liz'S Microwave Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rice
2 c. hot water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 3/4 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. (1/4 stick) butter, melted
garlic salt
Preparation

Soak rice in 2 cups of hot water for 30 minutes.
Dissolve chicken bouillon cubes in 1 3/4 cups of hot water.
Drain and rinse rice.
Place rice in casserole and stir in butter.
Season to taste with garlic salt.
Pour chicken bouillon over rice, but do not stir.
Cover and microwave for 15 minutes.
Let stand, covered, for 4 minutes.
Stir and serve.
