Oatmeal Candy Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 sq. chocolate or 4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 c. broken pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Put the first 4 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a full boil. Boil for 3 minutes and add the oatmeal, pecans and vanilla. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
