Candied Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil for 11 minutes.
    Add vanilla and food coloring.
    Dip apples in candy and place on buttered sheet.
    Insert popsicle sticks in center of apples for easier dipping.
