Oreo Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter
vanilla ice cream
chocolate syrup
large Cool Whip
pecans, chopped (optional)
cherries, halved (optional)

Preparation

Crush Oreos fine with spoon or blender.
Melt butter and mix with cookies.
Mash them into bottom of large container.
Put ice cream over cookies.
Spread chocolate syrup over ice cream and Cool Whip over chocolate syrup.
Sprinkle pecans over Cool Whip and arrange cherries on top.
Freeze overnight.
