Strawberry Glaze Whipped Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fresh strawberries
    2/3 c. water
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    1/2 pt. whipped topping
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    red food coloring
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Simmer 1 cup of fresh strawberries in 2/3 cup of water for 3 minutes.
    Mix 1 cup sugar and cornstarch.
    Add 1/3 cup water.
    Mix until smooth.
    Add to strawberry mixture.
    Boil, stirring until clear and thick.
    Add red food coloring.
    Cool.
