Rose Petal Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. warm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir in sugar.
    Beat in remaining ingredients.
    Grease muffin tin and spoon each about 1/2 full of batter.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until done.
    No need to let rise before baking.
    Batter may be kept in the refrigerator and used as needed for several days.
