Grandma'S Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 cake yeast
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over 1/4 cup sugar, salt and shortening and allow to cool (very large bowl).
    Mix yeast, 1/2 tablespoon sugar and warm water.
    Add to first combination.
    Add eggs beaten unto a sponge.
    Add 2 cups of the flour and mix thoroughly.
    Add remaining 2 cups of flour and beat until dough blisters.
    Let rise (covered) in the bowl 2 to 3 hours.
    Push dough down, cover and refrigerate. When ready to use, pinch out rolls and place in greased oblong pan. Let rise 2 to 2 1/2 hours and bake in 400\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes until done.
