Orange Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
1/3 c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 1/4 c. pecan halves
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup and orange juice in a saucepan; mix well. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture reaches soft-ball stage (240\u00b0). Remove from heat; stir in butter. Beat with a wooden spoon until mixture just begins to thicken. Stir in pecans and orange rind. Working rapidly, drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool. Yield: 1 1/4 dozen.
