Cheese Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    green tomatoes, sliced
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    canola oil for frying *
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, flour, grated cheese, salt and pepper.
    Heat oil in large skillet (T-Fal works great), just enough oil to cover bottom.
    Coat sliced tomatoes in cornmeal, flour, cheese mixture. Fry over medium/high heat until brown on both sides.
    Drain well on paper towels.
