Violet'S Prunella Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Wesson oil
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. cooked prunes
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Wesson oil, eggs, prunes, nuts and buttermilk. Sift remaining ingredients together and add to the mixture.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in angel food tube pan at 350\u00b0.
    This cake freezes good.
