Ranch Style Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    margarine
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. rice
    1/4 tsp. basil
    salt
    pepper
    Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in margarine; add tomatoes, peppers, onion and rice.
    Season with basil, salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Top with slices of Velveeta cheese.
