Veggie Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. Food Lion cream cheese, softened
    3 large stalks celery
    2 medium carrots, finely grated
    1 medium onion, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    Mince upper branches and leaves of celery.
    Grate large lower portions, removing strings.
    Combine celery, carrots, onion, salt, garlic powder and 1 tablespoon parsley flakes.
    Mix thoroughly with cream cheese.
    Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon parsley flakes.
    Refrigerate overnight for flavors to blend.
    Serve with crisp breadsticks or spread on crackers.
