Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. finely ground beef
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix together lightly; form into small balls (1 1/2 inches). Heat small amount of fat and brown.
    I use Crisco.
    Add about 1/2 cup of water.
    Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Thicken the pan drippings slightly and serve hot with meat balls.
