Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. cake flour or plain flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Beat the sugar and Crisco for 10 minutes.
    Add the next 3 ingredients and mix well.
    Alternately add the flour and mix well after each addition.
    Add the eggs, 1 at a time, and mix well after each addition.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
