Flaky Pastry Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. unsalted butter, broken in pieces
    4 to 5 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Set oven heat to 400\u00b0. Combine flour and salt in mixing bowl. Cut in shortening and butter until lumps are pea-size. Add water 1 spoon at a time and stir until
    mixture is moistened. Press into a ball and chill 45 minutes.
