Black Walnut Or Pecan Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco or other shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 c. plain flour
    5 eggs
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream the margarine, sugar and shortening.
    Add milk and flour alternately, mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flavoring and nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in a cold oven. Set heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 1 hour.
    Increase heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
