1 c. self-rising flour
4 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Grease pan with bacon drippings; pour excess drippings into mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Yields 2 loaves in 9 x 5-inch pan.
