Cheezy Pastries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, creamed
    1 egg, separated
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Line bottom of greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan with one package of rolls.
    Combine cheese, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla and juice.
    Pour over dough.
    Cover with remaining dough.
    Brush top with beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Yields 12 to 16 pastries.
