Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 stick butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar, salt, flour and well beaten egg yolks. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.
Add coconut and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue.
Sprinkle with coconut.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until slightly brown.
