Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter (at room temperature)
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. sifted flour
pinch of salt
Preparation

Mix by hand or mixer, adding flour gradually.
Divide and roll into about 1/4-inch thick and cut into wedges.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Watch closely as it gets brown in a hurry.
