Pineapple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread (crusts removed)
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 can crushed pineapple (No. 2 1/2 size)
    1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Grease casserole lightly.
    Cube bread.
    Beat eggs; gradually add sugar, flour, salt and crushed pineapple, juice and all.
    Mix all together and put into casserole, then put bread cubes on top. Then slice 1 stick of butter over all.
    Bake approximately 45 minutes at 400\u00b0 uncovered.
    Serves 6 to 8 (in an 8 x 8-inch pan). Excellent with ham or as a side dish.
