Dorothy'S Carrot Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 large carrots
1 medium onion
6 c. chicken broth
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Peel and chop carrots and onion.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add carrots and onion.
Cover; steam and stir for 20 minutes, then add the broth and boil for 45 minutes.
When tender, blend in mixer along with liquid puree.
Heat to boiling, then serve.
Freezes well.
Makes 4 bowls.
