Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. persimmon pulp, after run through colander
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients together.
    Put in greased, floured pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
