Patricia'S Fried Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fish fillets
    Crisco oil
    1/2 c. vinegar or lemon juice
    1 c. plain flour
    garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak fish, covered with water plus 1/2 cup vinegar, for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.
    Combine flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook fish fillets until golden on both sides. Drain in wire basket.
