Coffee-Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. instant coffee
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine
    and
    brown sugar.
    Add almond extract, salt, instant coffee, baking powder and flour.
    Mix all together
    to stiff
    dough.
    Spread in greased jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides).
    Sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
    Press into dough (it will be thin).
    Bake at 325\u00b0
    for
    12 to 15 minutes.
    Don't burn.
    Cut immediately into squares before cooling.
