Wild Rice Pecan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. wild rice
    1 c. long grain rice
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    fresh ground black pepper
Preparation
    In small saucepan, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and the wild rice.
    Lower the heat and simmer 45 minutes.
    About halfway through cooking time, bring the remaining water to a boil in a separate saucepan, then add the remaining salt and the long grain rice.
    Bring to a boil and lower heat to simmer for about 18 minutes.
