Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large whole chicken
    1 c. cooked rice
    2 c. bread crumbs
    3 c. broth
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 ribs celery
    1 carrot
    1 small onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In large pot, combine raw chicken, celery, 1 cut-up carrot, onion, salt and pepper.
    Cover with water.
    Cook until done. (Stewing chicken takes 2 or more hours; broiler-type chicken or fryer takes 1 hour or more.)
    Cool and remove excess meat from bones.
    Save broth (remove fat, if excessive, by refrigerating until fat hardens and remove).
